It's safe to say comedian Cameron Esposito has made it. She's performed around the county and been on national TV – including one late night performance where Jay Leno called her "the future" of comedy. But that doesn't mean she didn't have to pay her dues. She's had to work a number of jobs before she was able to make comedy her full-time pursuit.

Esposito, who plays Houston's Boondocks Sunday (July 19, 2015), tells Michael Hagerty about some of the interesting things she's had to do until she made it in comedy, from more normal jobs as a law clerk and as a nanny, to some more unusual jobs – such as circus ringmaster and sports mascot.
