The Dallas Mavericks staved off elimination in their first round series against the Houston Rockets Sunday night (4/26/15). The Mavs’ 121-109 victory means the series shifts back to the Toyota Center for Game 5 Tuesday night (4/28/15), with the Rockets still holding a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. And yet – even amid the excitement of the NBA Playoffs, the Rockets' postseason success thus far may not be the biggest story in Houston sports.

If you haven't been paying attention (and considering the product that's been on the field in recent years, who could blame you?) the Houston Astros are in first place in the AL West by 2.5 games, after sweeping the Oakland A's and winning eight of their last ten games.
