Every few months, we give you the opportunity to vent. It could be something about Houston, like the traffic or the weather. It could be something about your life. It could be something you just wished was a little bit different. It's your pet peeve, that one thing that sticks in your craw, that you just have to vent about, that makes your life in Houston just a little bit less than it could be. Oh, if ONLY!

Well, today is another one of those days! Share with the rest of Greater Houston that one thing about your life and times here that you wish you could change. That one thing that just raises your blood pressure a little, or takes some wind out of your sails. C'mon. Don't bottle it up. Channel your inner Grampa Simpson, and let it out.

Joining us for this quarterly moan session: Houston Public Media’s Ernie Manouse, and Houston-based comedians Stephanie Fisher and Ty Mahany.

Also this hour: In the 1970s, the city of Houston faced a building boom coupled with an infrastructure inadequate to cover basic needs. The city's only play at the time was to shut down development inside the loop. Now, decades later, as building in the loop is finally starting to catch up with growth outside the loop, how can the city be ready for more bodies, more homes and multi-family dwellings, and more demand on city services? One hope is that the city's new General Plan will help guide officials as they seek to address the most important upgrades and repairs. Houston Matters’ Paige Phelps will have a report.

Plus, the Rockets eke out a win against the Clippers, the Dynamo fall to Orlando, the Texans court a high profile free agent tackle, and the Astros have early success in the Grapefruit League. We discuss the latest developments in Houston sports with CultureMap Houston columnist MK Bower.
