The Middle Ages had its knights. The Japanese their Samurai. A new exhibitat the Houston Museum of Natural Science features full suits of armor and a collection of katanas — Japanese swords closely associated with the samurai warrior class.

Dr. Dirk Van Tuerenhout is the Curator of Anthropology at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. He spoke with Houston Matters’ Maggie Martin at the exhibit.

Samurai: The Way of The Warrior will be on display at the museum until September 2015.
