His topical humor often takes on hefty issues like racism or religion, and he tells Houston Matters’ Michael Hagerty that in the age of ubiquitous smart phones and social media, the consequences for stepping on toes can often be brutal. But Bell says he can’t live in fear, even in a world where – as he says – “everything is terrible.”
