We’ve all seen organic food in our supermarket, but the selection isn’t always abundant and the prices are often higher. And those things might prevent people from trying and integrating organic foods into their regular diet.

But there are initiatives afoot to make organic food options more prevalent – and theoretically cheaper – in Greater Houston grocery stores. Those initiatives include H-E-B launching its own line of organic products at its 300-plus stores.
