This weekend, programmers, graphic designers and other multimedia professionals will participate in the second City of Houston Hackathon. Now, the word “hack” might conjure something negative, but — as organizer Jeff Reichman tells Houston Matters’ Michael Hagerty — the purpose is to bring together dozens of the city’s creative professionals to find ways to improve life in Greater Houston. The Hackathon runs from noon Saturday through noon on Sunday at the Houston Technology Center.
