Pit Bull Rescue Launches Therapy Program to Save Dogs and Heal Veterans

Houston’s pit bull rescue is launching a new program to train rescued pit bulls as service dogs for military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Organizers say Operation Pits Healing Heroes is designed to save the lives of pit bulls while helping veterans cope with PTSD. Houston Matters’ Maggie Martin reports.
