A blogging conference coming up later this year is inviting Houston's bloggers to discuss how to turn a blog from a hobby into a business. Organizers of Blog Elevated say last year's conference drew an overwhelming number of parent bloggers.

These are moms and dads who chronicle their family life, share tips and advice, and sometimes endorse brands or products. When it comes to ethical blogging, these are subjects with a lot of grey areas. What rules or guidelines should Houston's parent bloggers follow?
