The Buffalo Bayou Partnership is holding a Christmas cruise and history boat tour this upcoming weekend. Anyone who’s going may notice the scenery isn’t the same as last year.

That’s because for about a year now, the Buffalo Bayou Partnership has been renovating a 10-mile stretch of the Bayou in the heart of downtown Houston. The 58 million dollar project will include a dog park, visitor centers and new hiking trails.

Houston Matters’ Maggie Martin met up with the Partnership’s President, Anne Olson, to get a glimpse of what the park will look like once it’s completed.
