Recently, KUHF debuted a new public radio special entitled Rising Seas. It’s part of a series of energy programs called BURN, and the production takes an in-depth look at the potentially devastating impact of sea-level rise along the Gulf Coast, and for two major American cities – Miami and New York. Houston Matters will give way on Wednesday for a re-broadcast of the program, hosted by longtime public radio reporter and host Alex Chadwick. On today’s Houston Matters, we’ll talk with Chadwick about what he’s learned about sea-level rise. Then, we’ll discuss the impact of it on Galveston with two local researchers.
