Many Houston area neighborhoods have developed their own special identity – through the people that live there, the businesses that flourish there, the cultural events presented there.

One neighborhood seemingly awash in ‘personality' is the Montrose neighborhood in the city of Houston. But neighborhoods change over time, and so that personality may not be what it was ten years ago, or what it will be ten years from now.

We learn a little more about Montrose, and explore how, if at all, the personality of the neighborhood has changed in recent years, or might change in the years to come. Houston Matters took a field trip to find out.
