For 32 years, the Kinder Houston Area Survey has tracked the social and political landscape of Houston. This year's survey is out, and it has some compelling things to say about Houstonians attitudes on issues ranging from immigration to gun control to same sex marriage and beyond. On this edition of Houston Matters, we discuss this year's survey with its author, Dr. Stephen Klineberg.

It’s a subject host Craig Cohen discusses with Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker, and with KUHF reporters, who offer a guide to Houston for new arrivals.
