What is the return on investment in going back to school? Latha Ramachand associate dean at the UH Bauer College of Business says 18-26 percent in future compensation if you’re getting an MBA. And no matter if your interest is engineering, art or sports, equipping yourself with an MBA sets yourself up for success. Management skills will be critical for anyone’s continued professional development.
“We have two physicians in our E-MBA program,” she said. “We have lawyers in the program. We have someone from architecture. We have gymnasts in our program. We have students with music degrees.”
“I think it’s very important to differentiate yourself and show the people around you that you bring something that’s very valuable that cannot be replaced, and that’s why it’s a good time to retool,” Ramachand said.
