Houston had a busy 2015, to say the least. As the year draws to a close, we look back at some of the biggest news stories from the past 12 months in Greater Houston on this special edition of Houston Matters.

Of course, there were too many stories to mention them all, but we try our best to give you a good summary of the year that was 2015, including: a mayoral race decided by a runoff, the contentious battle over the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance, the passage of a new campus carry law, the opening (finally) of new light rail lines, and the resurgence of the Houston Astros.
