We all know one of the biggest challenges (if not the biggest) facing Houston in the future is transportation. Voters reinforced that concern in the just-released News 88-7/KHOU 11 Voter Poll, which we discussed at some length on Wednesday.

Today, and over the next few days, we're going to delve into deeper detail on some of the specific issues and challenges addressed in that poll, and we start with that great concern over how to resolve the region's growing traffic problems. While voters are split over how to solve them, many do favor a solution that doesn't involve building new roads, as News 88.7 transportation reporter Gail Delaughter reports.
