It’s elaborate, long-anticipated and years in the making. It’s the Grand Parkway: the loop outside the loop outside the loop which, once completed will be more than 180 miles long, and cross seven different counties in its path around Houston. Proponents say the Grand Parkway will cut down commute time for many drivers traveling in from the outskirts of Greater Houston. Opponents worry it will encourage additional sprawl.

With another portion of the Grand Parkway expected to open up soon, we’ll talk about the project, and consider its impact on communities that surround it. We’ll welcome your questions for the President of the Grand Parkway Association and the head of Houston Tomorrow.
