Early Voting In Harris County Surpasses Entire Number Of Votes Cast In 2014 Midterms

The polling place that had the largest number of voters was the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center with 42,349.

More people have voted in Harris County during the early voting period of the 2018 midterm election than during the entire voting period of the 2014 midterms, according to data released Tuesday by the Election Division of the Harris County Clerk’s Office.

Unofficial election totals showed 886,355 have voted during the early voting period, combining early in person votes and mailed ballots. In 2014, the total number of voters who participated in the midterm election was 688,018.

The early voting period began on October 22 and ended on November 2.
