Friday, May 2, at 7 p.m. candidates in the Lt. Governor Republican primary runoff race will face off in a debate on Houston Public Media’s TV 8 and News 88.7, and online at houstonpublicmedia.org.

Our own Craig Cohen will moderate the debate along with three local journalists who’ll serve as panelists. Craig sat down with two of them — Aurora Losada, editor of the Spanish-language publication La Voz de Houston, and Joe Holley, “Native Texan” columnist at the Houston Chronicle – to talk about the Lt. Governor’s race and to preview the debate.
