The City of Houston will have 25 locations ready to recycle Christmas trees from December 26, 2018, to January 13, 2019.

The Solid Waste Management Department asks that people remove tinsel, plastic bags, tree stands and water bowls before turning the trees in to be recycled. Flocked trees are not accepted.

Houstonians can also place their trees at the curb for collection on their respective Tree Waste service day in January.
