The search for a missing California mother is approaching it’s sixth day. Houston police are searching for a California mother who was reported missing in Houston last week after departing from a mental health clinic.

36-year-old Danielle Friedland departed the clinic Nov. 22 and planned to travel back to her home in Piedmont, California in time to spend Thanksgiving with her family, but she missed her flight home.

Police said Friedland left her phone at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport after checking her bag, but she never boarded her flight to California.

Her husband, Jordan Friedland, said she has no money or luggage, and he has no way of contacting her. He flew to Houston days ago to begin searching for her. Friedland Monday had received some phone call tips about her whereabouts in downtown Houston.

Anyone with information about Danielle Friedland is encouraged to reach out to the Houston Police Department at 832-394-1840. Authorities said she is 5 feet 1 inch tall, 100 pounds and has dark brown hair.
