Millions of adults and children are reporting lingering COVID symptoms after an initial infection.
The most recent CDC Household Pulse Survey says around 15 percent of Texans ages 18 and up are in this category. These after-effects run the gamut from cardiovascular to pulmonary to neurological and mental health. While doctors and researchers are searching for a root cause and effective treatments, Long COVID is pulling Texans away from their daily lives, jobs, school, friends and family.
