It's something many children contemplate – whether or not to go into the family business. Some Houstonians choose a completely different career path from their parents, while others follow in the previous generation's footsteps.

We continue our family business series with two physicians from UTHealth. Dr. Herbert DuPont is a professor and director of the Center for Infectious Diseases at UT School of Public Health. His son, Dr. Drew DuPont, is an associate professor at UTHealth Medical School.
