Migraines can be pretty painful. Some of the symptoms can include a pounding headache, nausea, vomiting and light sensitivity. For some people migraines can be debilitating, and the only solution might be to lock yourself in a dark room until the worst of it passes.

In a city like Houston with a high pollen count, allergies can sometimes be confused with migraines and lead to misdiagnosis. However, there are some clear symptoms to differentiate migraines from allergies.
