You know that one thing that just sticks in your craw…that makes your otherwise wonderful life here in Houston just a little tiny bit less than it could be? “Oh, if ONLY it weren’t for THAT!” Well, today is your day to vent – to share with the rest of Greater Houston that one thing […]

You know that one thing that just sticks in your craw…that makes your otherwise wonderful life here in Houston just a little tiny bit less than it could be? “Oh, if ONLY it weren’t for THAT!” Well, today is your day to vent – to share with the rest of Greater Houston that one thing about your life and times here in H-Town that you wish you could change…that one thing that just raises your blood pressure a little, or takes some wind out of your sails.

On this edition of Houston Matters, we welcome your Houstonian pet peeves! It could be a petty annoyance, or a major, all-encompassing challenge. It could be specifically about Houston, or just something in your own life. Think of it as Houstonian group therapy, a chance to get some nagging frustration out of your system.

Also this hour, we offer one final chance for you to get questions answered about the impending health insurance exchanges. The enrollment period for the uninsured among us starts Tuesday. The ongoing political battle associated with this final phase of the Affordable Care Act will be a part of our discussion.

Plus…we talk shrimp with Haven restaurant chef Randy Evans, in advance of this weekend’s Galveston Island Shrimp Festival.

Houston Matters gets underway at noon on KUHF 88.7 FM. To join us on air, call 713-440-8870, or e-mail talk@houstonmatters.org.
