Tax Assessor-Collector Reminds Property Owners To Review Exemptions On Tax Bills

Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Ann Harris Bennett is reminding property owners to check their property tax bills to make sure they are receiving the proper exemptions.

Property tax bills are in the mail and on the way to Harris County property owners.

Property tax payments are due by January 31, 2019. Payments can be made online at www.hctax.net, by mail, by phone at (713) 274-CARD (2273) or in-person at any of the Harris County Tax Office locations.

To obtain more information about exemptions, property owners can contact the Harris County Appraisal District at (713) 957-7800 or online at www.hcad.org.
