It’s time again for some of your recent comments, including thoughts on our recent conversation with energy attorney and blogger Jimmy Vallee. He’s written a book about changes in the energy industry. It’s called Giant Shifts: Energy Trends Reshaping America’s Future.

And a listener named Jay wrote to us after last month’s discussion about things to do in Greater Houston over the summer. He offers a suggestion for a way to keep cool, suggesting one “go ice skating” at Galleria Mall, Memorial City Mall, or the Sugar Land Ice Center. “Or,” writes Jay, “if predisposed like Bambi, watch others ice skate and enjoy a beer. Either way, [it’s] a good way to cool off.”

We welcome all manner of comments about the conversations and reports you hear on Houston Matters at talk@houstonmatters.org.
