In the coming months, Congress is expected to vote on pipeline expansion from Alberta to Kansas. If approved, this new section of the Keystone Pipeline which would bring heavy Canadian crude oil to refineries near Houston and Beaumont.

We consider the pros and cons of the Keystone XL Pipeline. We talk with Houston Public Media energy and environment reporter Dave Fehling about the ramifications of the proposed expansion on Greater Houston, and then hear arguments in favor of and against the expansion from Luke Metzger of Environment Texas and David Holt from the Consumer Energy Alliance.
