During our discussion Monday with Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson about her wish to see changes to the grand jury selection process, which could result in younger juries, Travis wrote in to say how much he enjoyed serving on a jury.

Also: Bob wrote in recently, questioning the mantra repeated by a number of recent guests in response to oil and gas layoffs that "Houston can't get hurt as badly as in the 1980s because we are much more diversified now."

And on Feb. 13, we encouraged you to call in and write about good news in your life, those things happening here in Greater Houston that make you happy. Mindy wrote us to talk about the tough time she’s having slowly adjusting to life in Houston.
