Greater Houston is slowly recovering after several days of extreme weather that caused flooding, school closures, gridlocked traffic and at least two deaths.
There are multiple shelters open in the area and local governments are highlighting resources to report home damage and get recovery assistance. Most freeways have reopened, except for sections of East Interstate 10. And Houston’s two major airports, Bush Intercontinental and Hobby, are back in operation.
This is the list of high water locations Houston Transtar was reporting at 1:19 p.m.
