
Texas Southern University’s Police Department issued an “all clear” status for the university’s campus after it was evacuated due to a bomb threat received Wednesday by the Houston Police Department.
TSU Police Department has issued an "all clear" for the TSU campus. All evening classes remain cancelled. The University of Houston basketball game on campus for this evening will be played as schedule. TSU will have normal operations tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 29. #TexasSouthern

A spokesperson for the university had said around 4:05 p.m. the TSU Police Department was coordinating a thorough sweep of the campus.
All evening classes remain cancelled, but TSU said on Twitter that the game scheduled against the University of Houston’s basketball team would be played.
HPD said it received the threat through a phone call around 1:40 p.m.

Students were urged to leave campus, including the dorms, and were directed to go to Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. TSU will resume classes on Thursday.
