Bob Inglis is a former Republican Congressman from South Carolina who used to be a climate change denier. He says he used to call climate change a "bunch of hooey."

Then he had a change of heart, which he says cost him his job in the 2010 GOP primary runoff.

Today, Inglis is executive director of republicEn.org, and he tours the country talking about solutions to climate change. Tonight, he gives a presentation called Solving Climate Change with Courage and Conservative Principles at 6 p.m. at the University of Houston's Hilton Ballroom.

In the audio above, we revisit the 2016 conversation Maggie Martin had with Inglis about what prompted him to change his mind all those years ago.
