Anonymous Donor Gives $4 Million to University of Houston for Liberal Arts Initiatives

It’s the largest gift ever made to UH’s liberal arts college

An anonymous donor has given $4 million to the University of Houston (UH) for liberal arts initiatives.

UH officials say the money will support the school's creative writing program. The university will create an endowment for graduate student diversity and two endowed professorships in creative writing, among other plans.

The donation is the largest gift ever made to UH’s Liberal Arts College.
