UPDATE: Sheriff’s Office Arrests Two Men in Connection to Killing of ‘Good Samaritan’

Moyses Arreguin was killed when he was trying to help a neighbor that was being robbed

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has filed capital murder charges against a juvenile male arrested for the killing of Houston resident Moyses Arreguin.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has arrested two men for the killing of Houston resident Moyses Arreguin last week. The crime has been labeled as the killing of a good Samaritan because Arreguin, 29, was trying to help a neighbor that was being robbed.

Murder charges are pending against Gilber Gomez Jr., 19, who is believed to be the driver of the vehicle involved in the case, according to a post on the HCSO Twitter feed.

The HCSO has already filed capital murder charges against another man, a 15 year old juvenile male, whose name hasn’t been released for now.
