Small Plane Crashes In West Harris County

The pilot isn’t injured and the Texas DPS will secure the scene until the FAA arrives

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded Tuesday morning to an airplane crash in Harris County.

According to information from DPS, at approximately 9:10 a.m., a single engine aircraft (Bonanza 35) crashed in an open field on FM 529 west of Porter Rd, in west Harris County. The pilot was not injured.

DPS will secure the scene until the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) arrives to conduct their investigation.
