How The Houston Forensic Science Center Aims To Address Its DNA Backlog

Founded to address a backlog of hundreds of rape kits and other DNA evidence, the Houston Forensic Science Center will spend $2 million to address a new backlog.

Houston’s independent crime lab – the Houston Forensic Science Center – plans to spend $2 million to clear a backlog of hundreds of rape kits and other DNA evidence.
