West Nile Virus Positive Mosquitos Found In Montgomery County

he Montgomery County Mosquito Abatement team detected its first West Nile virus positive mosquito of the season

Two mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus were found in Montgomery County last week.

The two are the first positive results of the mosquito season, according to the county.

Officials began spraying insecticide last Wednesday where thew first sample was discovered.

The treatment includes spraying all streets within the affected areas twice, and residence are advised to remain indoors during treatment hours.
