A large truck hauling garbage flipped and exploded on I-45 on Friday morning; closing main lanes, and snarling rush-hour traffic.
No serious injuries were reported in the wreck that also has involved several other vehicles.
I'm calling this one the Miracle on I-45.
7 vehicles involved and no deaths, no one critically injured. Look at the flames! Big rig driver said he swerved to avoid 6-car crash in front of him. Truck flipped and caught fire.

The crash occurred shortly before daybreak Friday, in north Houston on Interstate 45 and West Mount Houston. All nine lanes were blocked and the wrecked and the blackened truck was sitting crosswise on its side, across the four southbound lanes plus the high-occupancy lane.
Firefighters put out flames shooting high into the air and were picking through the bags of trash in the truck trailer to ensure the fire was completely out.
