We're continuing to follow developments in lawsuits against Costello, Inc. stemming from Harvey.

On Thursday (April 5), more than 400 homeowners in Fort Bend County announced they are suing the private engineering firm over damages from the flooding. The firm's founder and former president is Steve Costello, the city's current "flood czar." The case is just the latest in a series of lawsuits filed since the storm.

To discuss some of the legal battles and their potential implications, Blake Hudson joins Houston Matters. Hudson teaches property, water, and natural resource law at the University of Houston Law Center.
