This week is the last opportunity Houstonians have to see the Apollo 11 command module that astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins used in their Moon landing mission in 1969.

The module is part of the "Destination Moon" exhibit at Space Center Houston, which ends this Sunday, March 18.

Following a national tour conducted after the historic NASA mission, the command module had been on display at the Smithsonian.

Besides the module, gear the astronauts used in their mission –such as Aldrin's helmet and gloves— is also part of the exhibit.
