A 15-year-old student was found with a gun on Pearland High School campus Friday, March 9th, according to authorities.
The Pearland Police Department is investigating a Crime Stopper tip regarding a handgun being brought to Pearland High School, said police.
“On Friday, March 9th 2018, Pearland Police School Resource Officers assigned to Pearland High School made contact with a student who was believed to be in possession of a firearm,” Pearland Police released the statement on a Facebook post.
At this time there is no threat to the school or students on campus and there are no reports of injuries. The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be provided as they are made known.
