As NPR has been reporting, President Donald Trump is unveiling his budget proposal today. It will include a $1.5 trillion plan to repair and rebuild highways, bridges, and other infrastructure. The federal government would include a couple billion dollars in the budget for the infrastructure plan. But the rest? That would be left largely up to state and local governments.
What could this funding plan mean for Houston, and will local municipalities and governments get behind the plan?
