The flu epidemic has closed down yet another North Texas school.

Also White Rock Montessori School in Dallas remained closed Tuesday for the same reason.

Meanwhile, in Weatherford, a teacher died from flu complications. Heather Holland was a second-grade teacher at Ikard Elementary. She died Sunday.

Charlotte Lagone with the district said campus custodians have been deep-cleaning Weatherford schools since December and that Ikard Elementary underwent another deep cleaning Friday.

The latest numbers showed that about 4 percent of Tarrant County students and 5 percent of Dallas County students have been absent due to the flu.
