UPDATE: Harris County Deputy Shot In The Arm While Responding To Disturbance Call In North Harris County

Authorities said the deputy was rushed to the Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands and is alert

A Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy was shot while responding to a disturbance call in north Harris County on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The deputy was shot in the arm in the 2500 block of Kiplands Way.

Authorities said the deputy was rushed to the Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands and is alert. The shooter was being arrested for deadly conduct when the shooting happened.

The shooter is believed to be barricaded inside the home, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
