
Last year, Houston area Realtors sold 79,117 single-family homes. That's about 2,700 more than in 2016 – an increase of 3.5 percent.
The median sales price rose too – by 3.8 percent to about $230,000 by the end of the year.
This despite the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey.
