Google Honors Beloved Tejano Star With Home Page Doodle, Fans Flock to Social Media

Nearly three decades ago, Selena Quintanilla released her debut album. Today on that album’s anniversary Google has decided to pay tribute.

28 years ago was the first album release of Selena Quintanilla. Google unveiled a google doodle displaying a short singing animation celebrating the Tejano star’s career. Fans of the deceased star flocked to social media to share their adoration for the singer, and their excitement over seeing today’s google doodle.
