As News 88.7 has been reporting, some Harris County property owners affected by the release of the Addicks and Barker reservoirs are filing suit. One such lawsuit targets the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Bryant Banes is a plaintiff in the lawsuit who happens to be an attorney himself. His home was flooded by the release of reservoir flood water, and he explains what prompted him to file suit.

Then, we discuss the legal merits of his case with Blake Hudson. He teaches Property, Natural Resources Law and Policy, and Water Law and Policy at the UH Law Center.
