Houston SPCA Can Offer Emergency Relief For Pet Owners

The Houston SPCA rescued this small dog from floodwaters.

Pet owners are also seeking relief from Harvey. Many Houstonians waded through flood waters as they evacuated from their homes, carrying their pets with them. In other cases, owners were separated from their animals.

Julie Kuenstle with the Houston SPCA spoke with Houston Matters producer Maggie Martin, and shared some advice on how to help keep your pets safe.
