Affirmative action admissions policies could come under scrutiny from the White House.

The New York Times reports the Trump administration is directing the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division to investigate and sue universities over policies deemed to discriminate against white college applicants. It's an issue in which Texas has played a major role in a recent Supreme Court ruling.
