For the first time in about a decade, Texas finished outside the top two spots in CNBC’s annual ranking of America’s Top States for Business. It now holds the number 4 spot, after falling two rankings.

The state of Washington holds the number one spot. Its economy grew nearly 4 percent last year, over two times the national rate.
